Datura Flowers

Datura is haunting in the sense that the bloom lures you in with its beauty, and then you realize that the plant itself is POISONOUS!

Also known as "devils trumpet" the shape cannot be mistaken. It's one of my favorite flowers. I used a glass sheet made by Bullseye which had BOTH these colors blended into it! Can you believe this was one piece of glass? I spent a bit of time meticulously breaking out parts of the gradient to get that blend from the leaves to the bloom.

The sun also plays crazy tricks with this material. Sometimes it looks more purple/blue, and in the sun it looks more green! The purple itself shifts in the sun too.
