Deep within the Great Smoky Mountains National Park is a clearing that is home to a population of Elk which were once native to the area up until the late 1700s. 25 animals were reintroduced to the wild starting in 2001, and numbers since then have quadrupled! This piece pays homage to the animals and efforts we put into rewilding our national parks, so that they can be appreciated and loved for generations to come!
This design utilizes 10 colors of glass and a two-tone patina method on the antlers!
