Guitarfish

Gliding smoothly across the seabed is a huge lovely triangle - a Guitarfish! At first glance, it may just look like a shark but a Guitarfish is a wild combination of a shark looks and a ray biology called a skate. The telltale skate trait of vents that provide respiration sit atop the had and near the eye, recreated here in painted detail. Faithful to the it’s size, this amazing creature has been rendered in a giant panel the Guitarfish deserves. Surrounded by shimmering aqua water glass and bordered with lead came, the sinuous sweep of a Guitarfish loves to catch and refract light, bathing it’s shadow in color. Due to the vintage nature of this aqua glass small imperfections, but the nature of this carefully crafted panel is stunning to behold in any lighting.
