Purple Gallinules

I LOVE GALLINULES and these are an ode to that passion for these beautiful and quirky birds!!

I spent over 35 minutes on each bird just to solder the feet. These were a total labor of love and I wasn't sure how they'd turn out in the end, but I couldn't be happier!

A has a unique swirled glass that includes purple, blue, green and black. B and C have iridescent wings which are blue and green. All sit atop an iridescent lily pad. Hand painted details on the face and legs.

Measures 5.5 x 4.5 inches.

NOTE: Due to the nature of the painted details, please keep this piece out of the elements! Rain, water, residues and frost can all have a negative effect on the paint. Best displayed inside somewhere dry :)
