Stained Glass Intro-Course

DECEMBER 19TH AT BRUSH TIPS ART STUDIO IN TARPON SPRINGS, FL

Experience the process of bringing an original stained glass piece to completion! If you've ever been interested in learning how to make stained glass art, this is for you! 

You'll get to choose between two designs; a manatee or seahorse, in an array of textures and colors! 

In this crash-course style class, you'll be foiling and soldering the piece to take your creation home with you the same day! You'll learn about all of the various materials and tools needed to create stained glass art in a less intense way than the full process.

The craft can be intimidating, so this is a great way to familiarize yourself with the terms and how everything works before completely diving in. A love for working with your hands and getting lost in the details is a plus.

The glass pieces will be pre-cut, smoothed, and cleaned for a quicker paced craft. All steps will be demonstrated during the class, so you'll still learn about the entire process! A full course is in the works and we hope to add this later :)

***This type of stained glass art uses a soldering iron heated to 850F, lead, and various chemicals which can pose a hazardous risk when handled improperly. Proper PPE will be provided and a safety acknowledgement will need to be signed at the start of the class. 18+ only at this time***
