Crystal Hybrid

An experimental art style that combines stained glass basswood, and acrylic!

This streaky purple glass was hand cut and grinded down to fit into the wood frame. The frame was drawn by me in procreate for iPad and the cut out using a CO2 laser!!

The entire piece is backed by acrylic. I painted the frame and dotted it with gold leaf for an added "organic" looking effect.

Measures about 7 by 5 inches.
